Release Notes

Introducing release of Phalanger 2.1 for .NET 4.0 - April 2011. The release contains fixes and performance improvements, for the complete list of changes see the changelist.

To migrate your old Phalanger applications from Phalanger 2.0 to 2.1 please follow Migration to 2.1.

Installation package also includes basic version of Phalanger Tools for Visual Studio 2010. This allows you to easily create, build and debug Phalanger web or application inside this ultimate integrated development environment. You can even install the tools into the free Visual Studio 2010 Shell (Integrated).

To improve the performance of your application using MySQL, please use Managed MySQL Extension for Phalanger.

Note If you need Phalanger running on .NET 2.0, please download Phalanger version 2.0 Phalanger 2.0 (April 2011) instead.

Main changes introduced in this release include following:
  • Performance improvement of many library functions.
  • Overall performance improvements.
  • Issue fixes and performance improvement in case of huge load on web server.
